Eldamar is an Atmospheric Black Metal band started in Norway during 2015. The band was formed as a solo project by Mathias Hemmingby where he plays everything. With a total of six albums in total of varying lengths.
Atmoshperic Black Metal is a very specific genre of Black Metal characteristics of tremolo and ostinato. I would personally describe it as a fusion of Black Metal and ASMR (or the feel of ASMR) to it.
Eldamar is personally my favorite Atmospheric Black Metal artist and I’ve relaxed to his albums multiple times. I usually pick two songs for a band, but given this particual genre, full albums are needed to get the full effect. I’d recommend listening to these at the end of your day when you wanna kick back.
