Keep Flying is a six piece pop punk band from the US that has your standard setup for instruments but also includes a saxaphone and a trombone. You don’t see other instruments such as those very often in this genre which adds a unique flavor to thier sound.
They’ve been out for a few years at this point and amassed quite a discography with seven albums at the time of writing this. There is plenty to explore with this band if you’ve been looking for one to deep dive into.
The band is still active with creating music and touring. I don’t believe they are touring as of writing this, but next time they come up to my neck of the woods I plan on attending their concert and you can expect a concert review if I make it!
The two songs I provided in this rec show a bit of good bands range in emotional tone. They do have overlap in theme and subject matter in there music. It’s not a bad thing, but if you’re in a certain mood their music hits harder.
Music videos are fun and have that suburban pop punk creative feel. Locations are dynamic. I think they probably film in their local area, but they are vibrant in the videos. The production quality is sharp, especially with their newer videos.
Pop punk has made a bit of a comeback in the past few years, and this band deserves more attention. They put in the work, and they should get more recognition for their efforts.
Band Rec: Keep Flying is marked with CC0 1.0
