Dracula fans rejoyce! A new Bram Stocker short story has been found. Granted it is not about our old vampire pal, but a new tale of horror. Gibbet Hill was first published in 1890 in Ireland. It was thought lost, but back in October Brian Cleary found it while searching through the Irish National Archives in.
The story is basically about evil kids. Not the first time done in horror, and not the last. But, when new material is found, it is something to celebrate. It’s not every day we get to see new material from one of the great gothic writers.
I’ve only found one copy for sale (I’m not affiliated with them), and I’ll probably pick one up at some point for myself. If I do, you can make sure I’ll write a review for the story. This is very exciting news for horror fans.
