Evelyn’s Casket is a four piece horror punk band from Washington State. This October I wanted to feature a horror punk band that wasn’t the Misfits. Don’t get me wrong, I like the Misfits, but other horror punk band deserve some time in the spotlight as well and Evelyn’s Casket is one band worth checking out.
When doing research on this band it was a little hard to find some info, so just in case, take what I found with a grain of salt. I don’t wanna misrepresent the band. We have David Phantom on vocals and lead guitar. BIFF on drums. Nicky Casket on backing vocals and rhythm guitar. And finally, Tanner Hulseferatu on bass.
I’m not entirely sure how many albums they have made, becasue when I looked on their bandcamp page, it was all singles. There is enough content there for a full album though. It does look like the band has started to expand beyond local shows, which awesome for them! If they ever come to my neck of the woods, I’d for sure look at going to their show!
They bring some good energy to their music. The band plays well together and they look like they’d have good stage presence. I find they strike a good balance where nothing overpowers anything else. If you’re looking to add another band to your Halloween playlist, consider Evelyn’s Casket.
