Lacuna Coil is a five piece gothic metal band from Italy. There band dates back to the mid 90s which was under a different name at the time. As of writing this they have released none albums and are working on getting out a tenth.
I love the beauty and the beast vocals the band puts forward. The mix of clean and harsh vocals produces and great contrast that keeps the listener engaged.
They have a large discography, so if you’re looking for a band to deep dive into, this might be one worth checking out.
I’ve missed seeing them twice now, but I hope to catch the band on their next US tour. There’ll probably be a concert review if I see them.
Their music videos exemplify a darker tone that fits well with the band. Not so if their sins are on the heavier side, they can still pack a punch when push comes to shove.
